Update on Manufacturer Extended Warranties
Effective November 1, 2018 Davison Audiology no longer offers the option to purchase extended warranties through the manufacturer on hearing aids that are seven or more years old.
We now partner with ESCO (Ear Service Company) an independent insurance provider to provide coverage options to patients with manufacturer warranties that have expired. ESCO has insurance policies that cover: loss, accidental damage and repair coverage for your hearing instruments. Patients that purchase new hearing instruments during their policy period may be pro-rated the remaining balance on their insurance coverage.
Out of warranty hearing aids will still be available for repair through any one of our five locations on an as need basis. Repair charges will only include a 6 month warranty. Repair costs will vary depending on the manufacturer and will be provided to you prior to the repair.
Davison Audiology continues to accept most insurances and offers reasonable finance options. Please feel free to discuss this information with your audiologist or contact the Business Office.
