Q: Does Medicare pay for hearing services?

Hearing evaluations are a covered benefit by Medicare when medically necessary. Medicare does not pay for hearing aids.


Q: What types of insurance do you accept?

We bill all insurance plans. We are a provider for West Virginia Workers’ Compensation, Ohio Workers’ Compensation, UMWA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance carriers. Contact the Business Office at 740.695.1058 or contact your insurance carrier regarding coverage for a hearing test or hearing aid.


Q: How will I pay for my hearing aids?

It is possible that your insurance carrier will cover some or all of the expenses. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. $50 minimum on credit card purchases.

Q: Do you offer hearing aid trials?

We offer 90-day trials, the longest in the industry, a 3-month opportunity to evaluate products and return them for credit if not fully satisfied.


Q: What is the Hear Now program?

With a small application fee, hearing aids are available at no cost for those who qualify financially.


Q: What is the HEAR-O program?

Drop off your used and unwanted hearing aids at one of our collection sites at EORH or OVMC. This recycling program provides hearing aids for the less fortunate.
